I like aquariums a lot, I like walking through tall grass in my boots, I like walking in the sand with no shoes on. I like waking up early and feeling like the only person in the world, I like staying up late past when everyone goes to sleep. I look up through the leaves and see the sky, I like to look up through the branches when there are no leaves, the contrast interests me. I like the feeling of getting into my truck, and yes I say my truck, it makes me feel important. I like the last gulp of tea, although sometimes it makes me sad. I like the feeling of a solid outfit, like “yes I want to be seen in this”. I like the thump of pulling on my cowboy boots. I like the feeling at the end of a good movie, like you’ve experienced something real. I like the sound of the ocean, it always surprises me how loud it is. I like the moment a plane lands and then it slows down really quickly and makes that loud whooshing noise. I like hearing people from France speaking french. I like green tea ice cream. I like finding really good dance partners at the bar and dancing on stage. I like the feel of a martini glass in my hand. I like the feeling of leggings fresh out of the dryer.
